How to Beat the North Georgia Heat..Go Further North

My family recently took a trip to Northern NY to the Adirondacks. I had not been there since a Teenager. My step-father's family has several very eclectic cabins. The cabin right on the Lake was actually built by my step-dad's father and his brother. I met cousins that I did not know about. There was only 1 day that the sun was out all day. But that is OK, compared to what I left behind in Georgia it was a very welcome change.

Week Four

Four weeks ago I started a new life of eating right and exercising. It has been paying off with weight loss that I seriously needed to do and exercise to get myself moving again!! Last night I climbed Kennesaw Mtn, which was 1 mile straight up and then 1 mile down! That was a huge accomplishment! I have been doing longer trails with hills, but this one was a killer and I almost didn't make it, but I pushed through! Coming down was the easy part and there was a nice breeze blowing! I'll keep pushing along one step at a time!
